Enki and the Abgal

NB: This article can be found after the following introductory passages.

Before you read this article, please note that, from 1996, I (Pari, the author of this article) had begun to see numerous visions. I was trying to understand what was happening to me. As I was trying to understand this, I began writing all the articles which can be found in this website. Each article is a continuation of the earlier one. So what I had explained in earlier articles were not explained in subsequent articles. This had also allowed me to keep developing what I have to explain. After I had written numerous articles, people were asking me as to which articles they had to read in order to understand something or the other. Thus, in 2015, I began to write books. All the knowledge which a person needs, so as to understand the contents of a book, are given in the book. Thus, a person could understand the contents of a book without having to revert to other articles or books. However, a better understanding could be had through reading the other books. I had also begun writing my first book “Holographic Universe : An Introduction” because I began to have a good understanding on the structure of the Holographic Universe through experiences, guidance from God, research, etc.

It should be remembered that my articles were written while I was trying to understand what was happening to me. So, the emphasis in the articles may have been on my own roles (due to the afterlife of my past births). In my books, I concentrate on just explaining knowledge and not really on giving an explanation on my own role.

It should be noted that since there are so many articles, I find it very difficult to update the articles. So there may be information in them which has not been updated. I try my best to keep my eBooks updated.

Anyway, to have a better understand of what has been said in this article, read all my earlier articles. Begin by reading the first article which is numbered as No.1 at my List of Articles. Then, re-read this article to have a better understanding. It should be noted that all my articles were written based on time being cyclic. Click here to understand the basics of the Cycle of Time.

Enki and the Abgal

Post 1: Posted on Jun 28, 2011

Abgal is a name used in the Sumerian myths. The Abgal are called Apkallu in the Akkadian myths. The names of the 7 Abgal sages in the Sumerian myth are Adapa, U-an-dugga, En-me-duga, En-me-galanna, En-me-buluga, An-enlilda, and Utu-abzu. But these names and number are mere representations. Since only a small number of people were using the roles which the Abgal are portrayed to have, only a small figure was used to represent them in the myths relating to the Abgal. The Abgal represents all those who were using the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge and who had used the sciences etc at the end of the cycle and in the beginning of the Copper Age.

At the end of the cycle, those who had walked into the divine world, in the Golden Age, had left information in hidden form. These information, in hidden form, will be used at the end of the Silver Age. More on this can be found at:

Ancient Sciences in the Hands of a Few

As a result of these information etc that had been passed down to the Copper Age, from those at the end of the cycle, a system for carrying out the instructions and handing down of the sciences etc had been created (at the end of the Silver Age). The Sumerian myth about 'Enki and the Abgal' relates to this system, which was established for carrying out the instructions and for using the sciences (and other information) that gets handed down. This is also why, in the translations (of the Sumerian Tablets) by Zakaria Sitchin, it has been portrayed that Enki had carried out tasks based on the ME and while under the control of Anu (God) who remained in Nibiru.

God plays various roles and these various roles were represented by different names in the Sumerian and other myths. God's role for the Confluence Age, relating to the creation of the divine world, was represented by Anu in the Sumerian myths.

Nibiru represents the Soul World, the Confluence Aged subtle regions at the end of the cycle and the divine world (in Golden and Silver Ages). At the end of the Silver Age, after having lost their divine world, the deity souls had tried to re-create their divine world at that time itself and this too was represented by Nibiru. But their attempts to re-create the divine world at the beginning of the Copper Age had failed because the divine world can only get re-created at the end of the cycle.

God stays in the Soul World but, at the end of the cycle, He creates the Confluence Aged subtle regions while coming into the corporeal dimension for the purpose of getting the divine world re-created. He gave the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge for world transformation and He will also use instruments to bring the sciences etc into the divine world (when the divine world gets created in the corporeal form).

God has also been portrayed as Enki in the myths. However, Enki is a role representing 'God using instruments on earth'. So Enki has been associated to the instruments on earth; whereas Anu basically represents God in the Soul World and in the Confluence Age (for the creation of the divine world and Vishnu).

The Abgal are demigods who are said to have been created by god Enki so as to give civilization to mankind. This actually refers to 2 situations where:

1. at the end of the cycle, God creates the Confluence Aged subtle deity roles and enables the Confluence Aged souls to use these deity roles while using their corporeal body (through this the Abgal are created and then the new civilization for the new world also gets created)

2. in the Copper Age, the princes/kings had taught their scientists (and others) the spiritual knowledge, sciences etc that had been handed down to them from the end of the cycle (Through this the Copper Aged kings/princes were able to help civilization to continue in the Copper Age, after the earthquakes pull their divine world into the ground).

The Confluence Aged people, who use the subtle deity roles while also using their corporeal bodies, have been represented as demigods in the Sumerian myths. In the Confluence Age, God uses human souls who have human bodies but these people will be in the divine soul-conscious stage. Thus, they are like demi-gods (half human and half god). The corporeal bodies represent the human aspect; and the subtle deity stage (experienced through the soul-conscious stage) represents the 'god' aspect of the demigods. Since God enabled these people to enjoy being demigods in the Confluence Age (by creating the subtle deity roles and giving these people the ability to use those deity roles), God had created them. Thus, Enki (God) is said to have created the Abgal.

The Confluence Aged human beings cannot refer to themselves as gods and goddesses. They are only human beings. But they are using subtle deity roles in the Confluence Aged subtle region and so the soul is like that of a deity because of the divine state which it is in. Thus, when one is in the divine soul-conscious stage, the soul can say that he is a deity.

The Confluence Aged Raja Yogis are using the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge to remain in the high soul-conscious stage. Thus, the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge encourages these Raja Yogis to be in the stage where they are only experiencing themselves as the soul (in the soul-conscious stage). So, the people using the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge tend to see themselves as the deities (since they see themselves as souls). This attitude of seeing oneself as a deity enables one to easily attain the divine soul-conscious stage, thus enabling the soul to use a subtle deity role. But the person cannot say that he/she is a deity because one has to use the corporeal body to say that. One can't say that the person using the corporeal body is a deity because the bodies which we have now are in their ordinary state. But the word demigod can be used to represent this combined usage of the ordinary corporeal body and divine subtle stage.

Those in the Confluence Age are not told to see themselves as demigods because they, as the souls, have to see themselves as the souls (and deities) so that they can easily attain the high soul-conscious stage. Attaining this high stage is the most important thing for World Transformation. So the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge only gives emphasis to the deity stage and not to the usage of the corporeal body. This has been represented through Enki and other gods in the myths (where Enki and these gods are seen as human souls in the combined state with God).

A more accurate way of seeing it would be to see Enki as belonging to the subtle dimension and the Abgal as belonging to the corporeal dimension (though Enki is also using the corporeal body and the Abgal are also using a high soul-conscious stage). Enki can be seen as the soul doing something or the other. But where Enki is concerned, emphasis is not given to the usage of the corporeal body though the corporeal body is being used. Enki represents the Confluence Aged soul and the subtle deity role. The Abgal, on the other hand, gives emphasis to using the corporeal bodies while the stage of the soul is good. Since it is the usage of this subtle role (of Enki as an instrument of God) that enables one to play the role of the Abgal, it can be said that Enki (the usage of the subtle role) creates the Abgal (in the corporeal sense).

At the end of the cycle, God flows along with the world drama and uses human beings as instruments to get the divine world created (in the subtle and corporeal manner). Once the divine world comes into existence in the corporeal form, God gets the scientists etc to establish whatever is needed in the Golden Age. God also gets these people to leave information etc, in hidden form, in the divine world so that these information etc can be used by the deity souls when they lose their divine world and have to re-build civilizations.

The deities, in the first half cycle (in the Golden and Silver Ages), are quite innocent because they have been protected from the truth that they will one day lose their divine kingdom. They are not told this truth because they cannot be given anything that can cause unhappiness. Thus, the information that they are losing it is placed in a hidden form so that when they lose their divine world, they will know of what is happening to them. They will also be given all the information so that they can re-create civilizations when their divine world gets pulled into the earth. At the end of the Silver Age, the kings/princes will be taught all that is required and then they will pass it down to their children, subjects and other royal members. Thus, the system for passing down the sciences etc was created at the end of the Silver Age.

Enki actually represents God and the Abgal represents all the kings, princes and other subjects who are given the sciences, knowledge etc for the creation of the new ordinary civilizations and for beginning bhakti/worship (in the Copper Age). The people, in the Copper Age, will be instructed to do bhakti because that will help them to not do sin and to remain virtuous.

With time, my first Copper Aged birth was seen as playing the role of Enki. I am not sure if there were also others who were seen as playing the role of Enki. The others who got the sciences etc from him were seen as the Abgal. So Enki and the Abgal have got 2 different meanings because of this. Actually, Enki has got 4 different meanings/aspects which are:

1. God (relating to His role at the end of the cycle and at the end of the Silver Age)

2. the Confluence Aged instruments (at the end of the cycle) who are using the sciences etc for service

3. the Copper Aged instrument(s) who developed the myths and the system for handing down of the sciences (and other information) that were meant to be used in the new civilizations that gets created in the Copper Age

4. the role of my 'soul' (my role) relating to my past births who explain the myths and give whatever necessary guidance now, at the end. So, the role of Enki is an eternal/continuous role in this sense. The end of the cycle will always get connected to the end of the Silver Age. (Maybe, others also play this role. I am not sure).

Since the information etc used by the Abgal are from the Confluence Age, at the end of the cycle, the Abgal are said to be sages who are advisors to the kings or rulers of Sumeria before the Great Flood. In this respect, Sumeria refers to the whole world at the end of the cycle. In most of the ancient life-dramas, the place which is used (to represent what happens at the end) actually represents the whole world at the end of the cycle. Through this, the end of the cycle is connected to the Copper Age. More on this can be found at:

Ancient Connection Between Copper Age and the End

More on life-dramas can be found at:

Ancient Life-Dramas

At the end of the cycle, the deity souls would not be having their kingdom anymore. There will be the kingdom of the Christians at that time (as it is now). And most of the kings, at the end, will be new souls (non-deity souls) too. All new souls will be living their satopradhan life on earth when they come from the Soul World. So many of the royalty might be souls who have just come down from the Soul World. Their pure state will enable them to see the truth in the Confluence Aged knowledge though they will not practice being a Raja Yogi like how the Confluence Aged deity souls will be doing. In this sense, the Confluence Aged deity souls can be seen as playing a role as advisors to others. The word 'kings' can be given so many interpretations. The Raja Yogis are kings in their own way as self-sovereigns. And each human being is a king in his own property etc. So, the Abgal being advisors to kings does not just refer to being advisors to the present day royalty.

In the Copper Age, the Abgal where advisors to the subsequent kings (from the second Copper Aged generation). At the end of the Silver Age, the system to have sages, as advisors for the kings, was established. These sages will be involves with the sciences and they will be giving advise, based on the sciences and religious practices, so as to help the kings rule wisely. The kings in the divine world did not have advisors because they were in their perfect state and so they cannot do any wrong. They would only act in a virtuous manner. But from the beginning of the Copper Age, the vices have begun to emerge and so the kings need advisors. The system for these advisors was established through what was passed down from the end of the cycle (before the Great Flood). Thus, the Copper Aged Abgal (in the Copper Aged life-dramas) were connected to the period before the Great Flood.

At the beginning of the Copper Age, those souls who had been playing the roles of Abgal at the end of the previous cycle, were seen as continuing to play the role of Abgal in the Copper Age. This was because the end of the cycle is connected to the end of the Silver Age. At the end of the cycle, the souls who had attained immortality, enjoyed immortality in the divine world and then lost it at the end of the Silver Age. In this way, the Copper Age is connected to the end of the cycle.

The subsequent scientists/advisors, from the second generation in the Copper Age, are portrayed as people who have inherited the knowledge of the Abgal. I take it that those who were alive during the life of my first Copper Aged birth as belonging to the first Copper Aged generation, even though they may have been born after the Copper Age had begun and were not those who had walked out of the divine world as my first Copper Aged birth had done. Enki is a role that involves those who walk out of the divine world, which is why Enki is portrayed as having come from Nibiru. Adapa on the other hand was born on earth and not in Nibiru; and Adapa is the first sage of the Abgal. The people who were given the sciences etc before they flew out of the divine world (as builders from the first kingdom, at the end of the Silver Age) are not portrayed as the Abgal. They are portrayed as gods and as 'heroes'. This will be discussed in another article, later.

The Abgal included the people who were using the sciences etc and the Confluence Aged knowledge to advise, explain and do service (at the end of the cycle and in the beginning of the Copper Age). This is why in the Sumerian myths, the ABGAL were portrayed as the sages who were sent to earth by Enki, at the beginning of time, to give human beings the ME, crafts etc that the people need (so as to live as a civilization). A discussion on the ME can be found at:

ME in the Sumerian Tablets and in Ancient Times

The Abgal are seen as being sent to earth because:

1. at the end of the cycle, the Confluence Aged subtle region is a different dimension from the corporeal world

2. at the end of the Silver Age, the deity souls are walking out from a different dimension (higher spiritual dimension) into the ordinary dimension (lower spiritual dimension).

The Confluence Aged subtle regions are another different world or dimension. Thus, the Confluence Aged souls, who are doing service in the corporeal world (outside the Confluence Aged gatherings), are portrayed as being sent from one dimension/place/world/planet to another.

The Abgal are portrayed as having served Enki as priests because they were Confluence Aged spiritual instruments of God involved with remaining linked to God while doing whatever is needed for the Confluence Aged service and the establishment of the civilization for the new divine world.

The myths portray the Abgal as being of human descent, but possessing extraordinary wisdom from the gods. In the Confluence Age, at the end of the cycle, this represents the Confluence Aged human beings (human decent aspect) who are using their divine intellect and their link to God, so as to have 'extraordinary wisdom' to understand the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge, the required sciences etc which can help create the required new civilization for mankind. In the Copper Age, the people who have the information that has been handed down to them are seen as being of 'human descent' but possessing extraordinary wisdom from the gods (of the end of the cycle).

Since the Abgal relates to the Confluence Aged instruments and the information which they passed down to be used in the Copper Age, the Abgal were portrayed as fish-like men who emerged from the sweet water Apsu. The Abgal were known to the Babylonians as the Apkallu Fish and are depicted with the body of a fish and the head of a man or with the torso of a fish that has human arms, legs and head.

The Apsu actually refers to:

1. God (as the Ocean of Sweet Virtues and Powers),

2. the Confluence Aged subtle regions where the sweet vibrations of God are experienced,

3. the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge through which we take our spiritual birth.

There is a Babylonian / Akkadian / Sumerian god called Absu (who is also known as Apsu and Abzu). He is the God of fresh water and the sweet waters of the world and he encircles the earth. He is portrayed as encircling the earth because, at the end of the cycle, God's vibrations are sent out into the whole corporeal world so that it transforms the whole world into the sweet divine world.

In the myths, Apsu merged his fresh waters with the salt waters of his consort (Tiamat) and from their union all the other gods were born. This is actually a representation of the 'creation and use' of the Confluence Aged roles. When God creates the Confluence Aged subtle region, He also creates the subtle deity roles which we use in the Confluence Aged subtle region. The Tiamat aspect represents the human souls who have corporeal bodies and they use these corporeal bodies while using the subtle deity roles. The corporeal bodies are needed to make spiritual effort to use the subtle deity roles. Thus, Tiamat is an important aspect in the 'creation and use' of the roles of the gods (in/through the subtle region). So, through the combination of Apsu (God) and Tiamat (God's Confluence Aged wives who have human bodies), the Confluence Aged roles (which involves both the subtle and the corporeal) are used.

God is given various names based on the various roles which He uses at the end of the cycle. It is as if God's various roles, involving the end of the cycle, are also given birth to, at the end of the cycle (through Apsu and Tiamat) because God only can play those roles when we play our roles at the end of the cycle.

Since Apsu represents God, Apsu is portrayed as being more ethereal than physical in nature. He is also portrayed in this way because Apsu's role is associated to the subtle Confluence Aged region. Tiamat has been associate to the earth because corporeal human beings participate with God for the Confluence Aged service.

The 'sweet waters of Apsu' also refers to the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge which is given by God for the re-creation of the divine world (at the end of the cycle). When one uses the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge, one can easily enjoy the sweet divine blissful stage in the Confluence Aged subtle regions where God's vibrations are experienced. Through contemplating on the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge, the souls get merged into the Sweet Virtues and Powers of God in the Confluence Aged subtle region. All Confluence Aged souls take their spiritual birth through listening to the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge. Thus, the Abgal are portrayed as emerging from the Absu. They are also shown as emerging from the Apsu because they are from the Confluence Age, using the Confluence Aged subtle region. The Abgal have been portrayed as emerging from the sweet waters, in the Sumerian myths, because their stage is good when they are used as instruments.

It is because the Abgal represents the Confluence Aged souls that they are commonly represented as having the lower torso of a fish, or they are dressed like a fish. Since the Confluence Aged souls are swimming in God's vibrations in the Confluence Aged subtle region, the Abgal got portrayed as dressed like fishes or as half fish. The half fish represents the divine stage of the soul and the human features represent the corporeal aspects of the Abgal. This is similar to how the Abgal are portrayed as demigods. So whatever I have said, in the discussion about the Abgal being demigods, also applies to this portrayal of the Abgal as being of fish and human mixture.

There is actually a reference to the myth about Enki as the fishgod in Tablet 3 of the Sumerian translations (in the 'Lost Book of Enki' by Zakaria Sitchin): “... And how the legend of the Fishgod who came from the waters was begun.”

The above relates to Enki's journey to earth. This is something that happens at the end, of the cycle, when:

1. God comes into the corporeal world (as Enki) so as to establish the new civilization for the new world

2. when people like me go into the corporeal world to do Confluence Aged service

3. when the royalty at the end of the Silver Age go into the ordinary world with the sciences etc to set up the new civilization in the ordinary world (when earthquakes pull their divine world into the earth).

The ordinary corporeal world has been represented by earth in this Sumerian myth. Sometimes, the corporeal world is represented by the underworld. It is a matter of 'from which angle' one is viewing the corporeal world. Enki's journey to earth, with Anzu and the heroes, will be discussed in another article, later.

Though the instruments of God are shown to use these roles of Enki and the Abgal, even God is associated to these roles because the human beings and human souls are being used as instruments by God. So, sometimes, that which applies to God is applied to Enki and the Abgal. For example, Ab means water. Gal means Great. Thus, AB.GAL means Great Water. This is a reference to God, the Confluence Aged subtle region and the Confluence Aged spiritual knowledge.

Sometimes, the Abgal have been portrayed with wings and an eagle's head because of the flying stage which we enjoy when we are linked to God (during the Confluence Age). The bird represents the soul enjoying the flying stage. The mixture of human and bird features represents the usage of the corporeal body while enjoying the flying stage. The human feature represent the corporeal bodies. All that which I have discussed relating to the Abgal being demigods also applies to this.

In the Babylonian myths, the Apkallu (Abgal) also appear as Griffins, and not just as humans with wings. The Griffin is a beast with the head and wings of an eagle but with a body of the lion. As mentioned earlier (and in other articles), birds and wings represent the Confluence Aged flying stage (divine soul-conscious stage). The lion represents spiritual royalty. The lion also represents the people within the royal clan on earth.

Spiritual royalty is enjoyed by all those who enjoy a very high divine stage in the Confluence Age. The behaviour of these people will be very royal. In the Confluence Age, they are Raja Yogis. Raja means king and the Raja Yogi is a self-sovereign or king over himself.

In the Copper Age, the Abgal belonged to the royal clan of various kingdoms. So the lion aspect of the Griffin also reflects this though the flying Griffin represents the Confluence Aged souls more than the Copper Aged ones because of the 'flying' aspect.

The Abgal are portrayed as carrying incense for purification purposes because of the purification process that takes place during the Confluence Age. I have discussed the purification process at:

1. Experiences During Purification Process
