Ancient Builders, Structures & Myths Explained -
Part 2 : Tower of Babel, Mount Sinai etc

(includes a discussion on representations through the sky, mountains, temples, pyramids and other structures on the surface of the earth)
Please read “What ‘Heaven’ means in the myths” and my other relevant articles if you do not understand anything here.
The corporeal world is heavy whereas the Soul World, Confluence Aged subtle region and the new Golden Aged world are lighter dimensions. That which is heavier would be at the bottom. So, often, the underworld was represented by places which were underground; while the Soul World, Confluence Aged world and the Golden Aged world were placed on top of them or in elevated places.
At the end of the cycle, the Confluence Age overlaps with the old world. Then, the Golden Age overlaps with the Confluence Age and the old world (until only the Golden Aged world exists). Thus, the temples, pyramids and other structures (which represented the Confluence Aged world and the Golden Aged world) were built on top of the surface of the earth and they often had a basement to represent the underworld. You will understand this better when you read my explanations on the Great Pyramid and the Temple at Jerusalem, in my later articles in this series.
The ancient Builders used different kinds of elevated places so as to represent the Confluence Aged world and the Golden Aged world. Sometimes they built tall structures; and sometimes they used the mountains and the sky to represent the Confluence Aged world, the Soul World and the Golden Aged world. The ancient Builders built tall buildings so as to make it look like as if the building was connected to the sky (since they used the sky to represent the Soul World and the Confluence Aged subtle region). This represented how the Confluence Aged world will be connected to God in the Soul World, at the end. It also represented how the Confluence Aged corporeal world will be connected to the Confluence Aged subtle region (at the end of the cycle). At the end, God will be there in the Confluence Aged subtle regions for anyone to meet Him subtly. The aims of Confluence Aged souls would be to meet God in the Confluence Aged subtle regions. Thus, the ancient people gave importance to meeting God in the heavens. This was why the myth about the Tower of Babel portrays that the Builders were involved with building a Tower that would reach the sky.
Mount Sinai and other mountains were also used to represent the elevated world of God. Enlil was originally seen as playing God’s role on earth. He was seen as God’s instrument on earth. So, what he did and said was seen as what God did and said on earth. Mount Sinai was portrayed as the place where he, as God, was (during the Confluence of the Silver and Copper Ages). However, Mount Sinai actually represented the Soul World where God resided.
Om Shanti
