Igigi - Heroes
(posted on 19-5-2012)
(includes a discussion on why the Anunnaki were portrayed as heroes)
Both, the Anunnaki and the Igigi, who came on the heroic mission to earth (the world outside the Silver Aged kingdoms) were seen as heroes because:
1. they had left their home (in the world of gods/Nibiru at the end of the Silver Age) so as to get involved in the heroic mission which they were assigned to,
2. they had also played a heroic role, during the Confluence Age, at the End of the previous cycle,
3. they will be playing a heroic role even at the End of the next cycle.
During the Confluence between the Silver and Copper Ages, the Igigi had worked very hard for what was considered as God’s work on earth. They had lived a very comfortable life in the Silver Aged kingdoms. They had left all that to get involved with difficult labour because they wanted to be involved with God’s work. This was heroic. They were heroes, and so, they could leave the comfort of their own homes to live a more difficult life for the sake of Mankind.
At the End of the cycle, both (the Anunnaki and the Igigi) had given up their comfortable Kaliyugi life to live a strict disciplined spiritual life for God’s mission of world transformationthrough self-transformation. This was also heroic. They are the true heroes, during the Confluence Age, at the End of the cycle because they will be involved with transforming the ordinary world into the perfect divine world. Thus, they were portrayed as heroes in the myths.
As per the World Drama, it is the heroes who would be offered the opportunity to get involved with the mission for world benefit. It is only the heroes who would have the thought that they should get involved with the mission that was for the benefit of the world. The heroes will definitely play their heroic role during every cycle (at the end of the Silver Age and at the End of the cycle). Some of them will be more involved with the spiritual (in the Confluence Age) and religion (from the beginning of the Copper Age). Others will be scientists and/or highly skilled people. They will use their speciality to carry out what they have to do for God’s mission of world transformation.
Though both (the Anunnaki and the Igigi) were heroes, the Anunnaki were enjoying greater status than the Igigi. Some of the Igigi were only used for the difficult manual work. The Anunnaki and Igigi were keeping away from the others, outside, while they were carrying out their mission because that was the life-style during the Golden Age, Silver Age and Confluence Age. The declaration of the Caste System had also made sure that they did not mix with or use the mortal (who were outside as citizens) for labour.
During the Confluence Age, the deity souls do not mix with the others outside so as to make sure that they are able to remain in the high soul-conscious stage for long. This makes life a little difficult but their heroic aims, and going into the soul-conscious stage, enables them to face all the problems that arise as a result of their not mixing around. During the Confluence between the Silver and Copper Ages, the Igigi had to do all the difficult labour. Initially, they were tolerating it because of their higher spiritual state and their heroic aims. But with time, as they got spiritually weaker and tired, they were not able to tolerate their exhaustion. It is those who had not done a lot of spiritual effort-making, during the Confluence Age, who play the role of the royal servers in the Golden Age, Silver Age and during the Confluence between the Silver and Copper Ages. Since their spiritual strength was weaker, they began to use the vices when they could not tolerate it any further.
Om Shanti
